Attend a Linshire LARP

Linshire is a small, close-knit community, and our events are invitation-only. This helps us maintain safety, manage group size, and ensure a welcoming, drama-free environment for all ages.

What It’s Like

When you arrive in Linshire, you’ll step under the gate near the Wobbly Goblin Inn. That’s the portal to the fictional world of Vravana, where our stories take place.

Once you enter, you’ll be welcomed in the inn to pick up a bag of free treasure. Tilda, our innkeeper, can show you around and help you get started.

You can visit the Quest Board out front to see what some of the available tasks are – and we encourage you to get to know our townsfolk, because they all have interesting stories and quests to share!

  • Embark on quests and solve mysteries
  • Meet townsfolk and learn their stories
  • Participate in games, puzzles and more.
  • Unravel the story and help protect the town
  • Trade, barter, build alliances

Where We Are

Our events take place in several acres of forested land on private property at an undisclosed location. Our location is only revealed to players who are invited to our private events.

Once you’re here, you’ll explore the Wobbly Goblin Inn, the Goblin Woods, and various other locations. We have a few hand-built stages (like our pirate ship and airship), but we’re still working on building the physical world of Linshire.

Costume & Character Requirements

One of the most exciting aspects of LARPing is bringing characters to life through costumes, storytelling, and imagination. In Linshire, we welcome that creativity—while keeping the experience enjoyable and family-friendly for all.

As part of the in-game lore, Linshire is a magical town with two active portals:

  • One connects to modern-day Earth
  • The other leads to various fantasy realms

This allows players to appear however they feel most comfortable. Costumes are encouraged but not required—street clothes are absolutely fine!

However, ALL attendees must abide by our clothing and conduct guidelines. Please review them prior to your visit.

Safety & Expectations

Our events are family-run and take place on real forest terrain. We work hard to make it safe, fun, and respectful. Here’s what you agree to when you attend:

  • Climbing on structures is not allowed. The pirate ship, airship (treehouse), and other platforms are for cast members only.
  • Stay within designated LARP areas. The house, yard, and duck coop are off-limits to everyone.
  • Use foam weapons responsibly. All combat is light-contact and consent-based.
  • Respect boundaries and character choices. No means no, in and out of character.
  • Follow instructions from staff. Mr. Rain, The Mayor and the Sheriff are your point of contact for safety questions, rule reminders, or concerns.
  • No real weapons or unsafe props allowed. Any real weapons must be peace-bound and all boffer weapons must meet safety requirements. Contact us for details.

Sign the Liability Waiver

All participants (or a parent / guardian) must complete a Liability & Safety Waiver before attending.

We require one form per family per year.
