Everything changed when, during a trance, Calea felt the pull of something ancient and powerful: the Everglowing Ember. Though she did not know its name at the time, its insistent whispers echoed in her mind, leaving her in a stupor for days. Her cryptic verses during this time hinted at the Ember’s cosmic significance.

Encounter with Silas Wolfsong

Silas Wolfsong, a scholar and figure within the Adherents of the Artifact, discovered Calea in the forest. His curiosity was piqued when he stumbled upon her in an ancient grove near Misthaven, encircled by shimmering light and lost in a trance. As Silas approached, Calea opened her eyes and delivered a prophecy that haunted him, though she had no memory of it afterward.

Silas recognized it as a revelation about the Everglowing Ember and offered to whisk her away from Misthaven, where she had become an outcast. Calea respected Silas but doubted his intentions.
